You've got to read the first one. Read it as it is, what is actually there. Look at the words and how they are used in various places in the letter. " I solicit for your honest assistance to a family shattered by lyric governmet." It's great. There's no other way to describe this one other than whoever wrote it HAD to be using something from Microsoft to translate whatever language they were writing in into American English. Really. How else could you explain it? To intentionally write like this is a lot of work and takes considerable effort, planning, and re-writing. Trust the Desk on this one, It's Done It for various stories and articles.
The second one is less funny. It is a serious attempt both to get somebody to break the law, and for the scammer to rip them off in the process. Yes, it's the old foreign/ counterfeit check scam, but what's worse, it came out of CareerBuilder.com and the scammer is evidently a respected employer who is working with CareerBuilder (who trumpets about being a partner with CNN) to find you employment. If they keep this up, they might also want to post links to bail bondsmen and criminal defense lawyers.

We'll skip the usual analysis and cut to the chase here.
